Karratha Family Centre
The Karratha Family Centre has been operating in Karratha for 34 years. It offers a warm and welcoming environment for families and community members of Karratha to join as a group to share experiences, offering a sense of belonging in the wider community.
The centre facilitates a range of play groups including a supported multicultural play group on Tuesdays from 1.30 - 3.30pm.
The Karratha Family Centre runs Shake Your Sillies Out, a program based on dance and movement every Wednesday during School terms from 9.30 - 10.30am.
The Karratha Family Centre also operates the Humpty Dumpty Toy Library every Sunday from 8.30am - 10.00am. The Library offers over 500 toys including indoor/outdoor toys, puzzles, baby toys, sporting equipment and much more.
The Karratha Family Centre offers a School Readiness program for children aged three and above. The course is based upon feedback given by Kindergarten Teachers on reoccurring issues they see with children coming from isolated areas such as the Pilbara.
The Centre is proud to offer spaces for other child friendly programs to run such as Kindermusic and Nutan's Draw and Learn. Information on these programs can be found on our website.
